Mr Alhassan B ZiblimHead of Administration

Having completed the University of Ghana, Legon in the year 2000 with a BSc. Degree in Agricultural Economics, he undertook a mandatory national service as a special assistant to the Deputy Secretary General of All African Students Union headquarters in Accra, Ghana.

Mr. Ziblim took up a full time appointment in the hospitality industry with Council Investment Ltd from 2002 to 2005. By dint of hard work and professionalism, he rose from an officer to a Finance and Administrative Manager over the period.

In 2006 he decided to go into the world of banking by accepting an offer of appointment as an Executive assistant from Zenith Bank Ghana Ltd, a subsidiary of Zenith Bank PLC headquarters in Nigeria. Mr. Ziblim was among the early hires of the bank and contributed immensely to the bankability to revolutionized and demystify banking in Ghana and take banking to the ordinary person. He won best operations staff in 2007 and got promoted to branch Head of Funds Transfer. In recognition of his exceptional service delivery skills and positive attitude to work, he was promoted again to serve as Head of Operations from 2008 to 2010. To challenge himself in new areas, he moved from operations department to marketing department as a relationship manager in 2011. Here again, he excelled in deposit mobilization and income targets within a short time and was promoted to branch Head of Marketing until January 2013 when he became an Acting Branch Head.

Mr. Ziblim in June 2013, decided to join the public sector to make use of the knowledge and innovation skills he acquired from the private sector. He accepted a challenge from Ghana Free Zones Authority to be the first head of a newly created Administration Department. His key responsibility is to provide administrative and logistical support to the GFZA Secretariat through coordination and implementation of administrative and human resource management policies and procedures. He also supervises the running of the Transport Unit of GFZA and serves as an advisor to the Executive Secretary on Administrative and Human Resources management issues.

He has undergone seminars and workshops covering Managerial Leadership Skills, Negotiating Skills, and Customer Relationship Management facilitated by renowned local facilitators (MICHAEL STEVENS CONSULTING & KNOWLEDGE CAPITAL). He also had the rare opportunity of benefiting from international seminars, conferences and workshops on ‘Challenges of Globalization, Impact of the Global Financial Crisis & international Supply Chain Management:  Challenges for International Trade’ organised by FOX School of Business, Temple University, Philadelphia, USA, and ‘Social Issues and Ethics in International Business, The Ethics, Economics and Politics of Oil in Ghana, and Emerging Markets and Executive Education’ organized by   North Eastern University, Boston, USA.

Mr. Ziblim was a delegate to the 12Th Annual Africa Business Conference organized by Harvard Business School, Boston, USA.
